- How to isolate with rubber dam, Expandex, Optragate, and Dry Shield.
Module Three: Mastering The Class 3, Class 4 And Class 5 Restorations
Tired, frustrated, and not getting great results with your resin composite restorations? Do you want to impress your patients? This very practical and clinically oriented module will provide you with the tools to complete anterior resin composites in a fast and predictable way that will wow your patients.

In this Module CMO members will be guided through a step-by-step approach on how to layer, with the ultimate goal of a highly esthetic restoration that replicates the natural tooth. A clinical decision approach to select a layering technique and a rationale for the selection of opacities of composite will be discussed. In addition, members will learn efficient preparation design, placement, polishing and surface texturizing techniques to ensure a natural esthetic result.

CMO Members Will Learn:
- How to create an invisible class 3 restoration.
- To understand if a bevel is necessary when doing class 3 and 5 restorations.

- Understand how long of a bevel is necessary and what the design should be. - - Do scalloped, starburst or smooth bevels make a difference?
Module Four: Managing Black Triangles and Closing Diastemas
Closing diastemas with composite resin  is a challenge for all of us. Post orthodontic cases are very prevalent due to a tooth size discrepancy. These require minimally invasive techniques due to the age of the patient. Obtaining proper proximal and gingival contour, adequate width, good proximal contact and blending of the composite resin into tooth structure are of outmost importance for longevity and esthetics.

This module will present a detailed step-by-step technique to close midline and other anterior diastemas. It will teach shade selection and very importantly opacity selection, tooth preparation, bonding, matrices, layering, “pull through techniques” and contouring and polishing.

CMO Members Will Learn:
- How to select shade and opacity of the resin composite to close diastemas.

- To understand if your resin composites should be warmed using composite heaters?
Module Five: Mastering Direct
Composite Resin Veneers
This module will teach CMO members how to master direct composite resin veneers and offer these restorations to their patients.

Mastering the direct resin veneer takes understanding of preparation design, thickness of the different layers and how to use effect shades of composite to create a truly esthetic restoration that can rival porcelain. Using achromatic shades will allow the dentist to provide incisal translucency and create effects that match the natural tooth.

When you have a dark substrate how do you handle the value? Using different opaquers and understanding the use of tints will be taught in detail. How deep should you prepare the tooth depends on a number of factors. These will be addressed and tips will be given on how to treat the endodontic tooth. Finishing and polishing for maximum longevity will be shown. How to fabricate a single central incisor veneer is challenging, and you will learn how to accomplish this in an efficient manner.

CMO Members Will Learn:
- The preparation design and depth for maximum strength and esthetics.

- How to create multiple side by side restorations.
- How to use a lingual matrix for increasing the length.
- Which burs work best to create surface texture.
- What polishing system will give you the best result.
- To understand the 10 steps to finishing and polishing composite resin veneers.
Module Six: Mastering Posterior
Composites Resins
Taking too long? Not getting excellent proximal contacts? Bad contours? Not getting a good gingival seal? Difficulty dealing with deep proximal restorations? If you answered yes to any of the questions, this module is for you!

Get the knowledge to recognize which matrices, wedges and rings to use. Understand how to manage deep, as well as extensive preparations. Learn how to speed up your procedures and maximize quality, efficiency, predictability and profitability with posterior composite resins.

Composite resin is the ideal material to use to allow all of the treatment to be phased over the course of a year or more. The use of silicone models and a unique clear PVS impression material will be taught in great detail to fabricate indirect composite lingual veneers and onlays.
