Master Course in Esthetic Implant Dentistry.
Hi everyone, I am writing to you this week from Bern. The capital city of Switzerland.
I am participating in the Master Course in Esthetic Implant Dentistry at the University of Bern presented by Prof. Dr. Daniel Buser and Prof. Dr. Urs Belser.
Bern is a really beautiful medieval city that was founded in 1192! With no modern architecture allowed in the city center, it is very well preserved with old sandstone buildings that are hundreds of years old.
The course has been excellent and includes live patient demonstrations, hands on workshops and lecture presentations. The live patient demonstrations have been the highlight of the course for me with Dr. Buser preforming 4 different complex surgeries for esthetic implant sites and Dr. Belser demonstrating provisional implant techniques in the esthetic zone.
I feel the combination of live patient demonstrations and hands on workshops is a great learning combination and that is the format that I am following for the occlusion workshop that I am presenting in my office in 2 weeks.
I was going to upload a video but the Internet connection is too slow in my hotel, so I will upload it next week when I return to Canada.
