In this video, Dr. Stephen Phelan demonstrates the minimally invasive, guided implant surgery technique with a video filmed using the Zeiss dental microscope. The implant was placed without a flap using only a tissue punch.
In this initial video, Dr. Stephen Phelan discusses the advantages to the clinician and the patient with guided dental implant placement. The second part of this series will demonstrate a clinical video of the actual technique.
Dr. Stephen Phelan graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1992. He has lectured locally and internationally on the subject of dental implants, occlusion, esthetic and restorative dentistry.
